Reasons why I don’t want to do the TikTok:

1.) I am too old. Way too old.

2.) I will look like a fool.

3.) It’s just another social media that I have to try to learn.

4.) It’s just another social media that I have to gain followers on.

5.) I am not cool.

Reasons why I’m doing the TikTok anyway:

1.) I write teen fiction. My target audience is on TikTok.

2.) Maybe I can gain an audience, which may lead to sales, which may lead to reviews, which may lead to more sales.

3.) There are so many funny or interesting videos on TikTok (if you weed out the appalling).

4.) So, it’s actually kinda fun. I’ve made a few simple videos so far.

5.) And, like, now I’m kind of addicted.
