Week 2 Diet Update
Welp, Week 2 of Nutrisystem is in the books. Here’s how it’s going:
Starting weight: 167
Current weight: 163.8 (Last week’s check-in weight was 164 — hence, the frowny plate above)
Goal weight: 130
Exercise: Have I joined a gym or started a structured workout program? No. But it turns out that the moving and walking I do at work is sometimes counted as exercise in my Nutrisystem NuMi app, so that’s fine by me. In addition, I walked our local Linear Park Trail this weekend.
The Food: I’ve logged a few more favorites this week, including the chicken parmesan, the jalapeno and white cheddar chicken stick, and the cinnamon streusel muffin. A not-favorite from this week was the meatloaf and vegetables dinner. Oh, and the shortbread cookies were hard as rocks and not very delicious.
Next Steps: I know I need to drink more water and less Diet Coke, so that will be a focus during Week 3. I plan to have a big-fat cheat meal on Friday because my husband and I are having our 16th anniversary dinner at a fancy restaurant (and I will not be shy). But I’m still hoping I can manage to lose more weight next week than I did this week.
