Under the Pawpaw Trees was honored by The Historical Fiction Company as a 5-star Highly Recommended book, and it was long-listed for their 2023 Book Awards. On December 31, Under the Pawpaw Trees was awarded an Honorable Mention in the young adult category.

A microfiction romance I wrote about a blind woman and her beau, “Amour et Lumiere,” has been published in the online literary magazine 101 Words.

Sitting on Top of the World and Under the Pawpaw Trees are now available in Indie Texas, a collection of books from local indie authors available exclusively on the BiblioBoard Library mobile and web platform. This collection is available to patrons of participating libraries all across Texas.
